APU Student Kyle Fish Wins Frank G. Brooks Award

Azusa Pacific University student Kyle Fish, a Newberg, OR resident, won the Frank G. Brooks Award for his cellular/molecular presentation on the effects of maternal depression on fetal brain development at the Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) National Biological Honor Society at CSU-Monterey Bay.

Seven APU students presented their original research, alongside TriBeta chapters from all over California. Each presentation was evaluated based on degree of originality of the project, methodology and scope of the data, evidence of background knowledge of the project, and clarity of the presentation in two categories - Organismal/Ecological, and Cellular/Molecular.
